Calgary Public Library Offers Residents of High River Access to Public Library Service:  This generous offer of support for the High River community is sponsored by the Calgary Public Library Foundation for Flood Relief. Library services will be available to all High River residents, effective immediately through to December 31.

This includes borrowing library materials, access to library computers, Internet and Wi-Fi, programs for children and adults, as well as the use of meeting room facilities. When High River residents come to any of the 18 Calgary Public Library locations to apply for a temporary card, they will be asked to present a piece of photo identification and ID proof of their High River resident address. This process is standard for all Calgary residents to acquire a library card.
High River Centennial Library cardholders will continue to have access to e-book loans and other database resources on the Marigold Library System website (
Marigold Library System and High River Centennial Library would like to thank the Calgary Public Library Foundation for Flood Relief and the Calgary Public Library for this opportunity in supporting High River residents.  We acknowledge that Calgary Public Library’s Central branch was also affected and sustained considerable damage, which demonstrates the spirit of collaboration among libraries throughout Alberta in helping each other and staying committed to providing accessible and exemplary public library service to Albertans.
High River Centennial Library appreciates your patience and support as we work to restore library service to the High River community.
